B.O.B. - Budget Observing Buddy - 2011

Two week assignment in collaboration with Silje Maloney Barth

The assignment was named 'Digital companion' and was about exploring the internet of things. The chosen theme for the project was personal economy. After a workshop with the other students we concluded that most students don't have full control over their finances and they would rather not be constantly reminded of their poor economy. Although they would benefit from some type of indication if they go over their budget.

So instead of a direct reminder we decided to create something more peripheral. A budget buddy that at a quick glance can tell you if your spending within your means this week.
