Pebbles - media player - 2008

Three week assignment in collaboration with Henrik Haanes, Ingrid Aspen and Anders Ertsås

Pebbles is a media player that let's you physically handle digital music. The stones or pebbles each contain an RFID chip and they represent an album, playlist or a single song. The music is started by placing the pebble on the wooden surface. With several pebbles the user can physically organise and rearrange the order of the playlist.

The pebbles are customizable and will come in different colours so that user can easily remember which songs they represent. This also makes it easier to gift someone an album or mixtape even if the only stream their music.
